Two of today’s hottest voices in jazz saxophone, Eddie Barbash and Patrick Bartley Jr., come together for a premiere reeds collaboration. Join 23Arts as these two talents collide for the debut CJF 23Arts collab at Fromer Market Gardens.

Barbash, a founding member of Jon Batiste Stay Human (The Late Show with Stephen Colbert), is known for American roots music but has performed with stars in almost every genre: jazz with Wynton Marsalis, classical with Yo-Yo Ma, rock with Lenny Kravitz, country with Vince Gill, funk with Parliament.

Grammy-nominated Bartley, founder of the J-Music Ensemble, was featured in the Emmy-nominated HBO special Wynton Marsalis: A YoungArts Masterclass (premiered at MoMA in NYC) and has performed and recorded with artists including Batiste, Marsalis, Louis Hayes, Mulgrew Miller, and Jeff Coffin.
