An octet of outstanding musical voices from today's young jazz scene go Live at the Falcon! Drawing on the rich musical past of Harlem, trumpeter Dominick Farinacci leads this reincarnation and recreation of the history of Harlem jazz, taking a journey from the A Train to Minton's Playhouse, the Renaissance Ballroom, Carnegie Hall and more. This program features unique interpretations of the most iconic moments of Harlem's musical past, paying homage to Duke Ellington, James P Johnson, Dizzy Gillespie, Billie Holiday, Miles Davis and Charlie Parker along the way.
