Two dynamic regional jazz organizations, the Catskill Jazz Factory and the Hudson Valley Youth Jazz Orchestra, join forces this January for an exciting three ensemble showcase joined and led by special guest pianist, composer, orchestrator and educator Steven Feifke.
Featuring performances by the Highland Middle and High School Jazz Ensembles and the Hudson Valley Youth Jazz Orchestra live at The Falcon in Marlboro, NY.

In addition to regional education outreach with the Catskill Jazz Factory, Steven Feifke has been artist in residence at Northern Illinois University and given masterclasses at Williams College and Yale Undergraduate Jazz Collective. His special commissions have been performed at venues including the famed Westgate Theater in Las Vegas and Lincoln Center in New York City, and he has written music for albums distributed around the world. Feifke has also written original works for television and film media, and his music can be heard on the hit show “Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee” produced by Jerry Seinfeld, and on “Impractical Jokers” on TruTV.
