Catskill Jazz Factory returns for their second annual collaboration with the Phoenicia International Festival of the Voice with a stunning evening of iconic repertoire led by award-winning pianist Damien Sneed. 

One of the dictionary definitions of a siren is “ a woman who sings with enchanting sweetness.”  Jazz great Damien Sneed brings together some of the finest voices in the world to personify the great sirens of gospel--Mahalia Jackson, Shirley Caesar, Kim Burrell, Aretha Franklin, and Albertina Walker--performing gospel classics accompanied by s magnificent jazz ensemble.  

Sneed is an acclaimed multi-genre artist with a breathtaking imagination and global reach who regularly performs with artists including Diana Ross, Aretha Franklin, Wynton Marsalis, Stevie Wonder, Carlos Santana, Lawrence Brownlee and Jessye Norman.
