Jazz at the Culinary Institute of America: Do you Zazou?

Vocalist Tatiana Eva-Marie, named "one of the best young singers around" by The Wall Street Journal, is joined by her Avalon Jazz Band for a night of Gypsy-French hot jazz inspired by the 1930s and 40s, the Zazou wartime swing kids, Django & Grappelli, Jean Sablon, Charles Trenet, Yves Montand, and others.

Tatiana was recently included, alongside Cyrille Aimee and Cecile McLorin Salvant, in a list of 37 rising jazz stars by Vanity Fair Magazine, and performs regularly in New York and on tour around the world. Past shows include "Divas of the Silver Screen" at Jazz at Lincoln Center, Midsummer Night Swing Festival at Lincoln Center, the NYC Winter Jazzfest, the New York Hot Jazz Festival, and "The Edith Piaf Centennial" at the Iridium.
